Microsoft Outlook 2010 Setup Instructions Set up your Internet Mail- In Microsoft Outlook 2010, click on the File tab, then click Info and Account Settings.
- Click New to add a new email account. Select POP3 as your mail account and click Next.
- On the bottom of the window select "Manually configure server setting or additional server types", then click "Next".
- Enter your name in the user information area.
- Your email address is your username followed by @i.net.au Eg. username@i.net.au
(Note: If you have your own domain name, your email address may be different) - Select POP3 for Account Type.
- The Incoming mail server (POP3) is mail.i.net.au
- The Outgoing mail server (SMTP) is mail.i.net.au
- Enter your username and password in the logon information area.
- The Require logon on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) should NOT be selected.
- You can test the mail account by clicking on the Test Account Settings button.
- Click Next and then Finish to close the wizard.
