Microsoft Outlook 2010 Setup Instructions

Set up your Internet Mail
  1. In Microsoft Outlook 2010, click on the File tab, then click Info and Account Settings.
  2. Click New to add a new email account. Select POP3 as your mail account and click Next.
  3. On the bottom of the window select "Manually configure server setting or additional server types", then click "Next".
  4. Enter your name in the user information area.
  5. Your email address is your username followed by @i.net.au Eg. username@i.net.au
    (Note: If you have your own domain name, your email address may be different)
  6. Select POP3 for Account Type.
  7. The Incoming mail server (POP3) is mail.i.net.au
  8. The Outgoing mail server (SMTP) is mail.i.net.au
  9. Enter your username and password in the logon information area.
  10. The Require logon on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) should NOT be selected.
  11. You can test the mail account by clicking on the Test Account Settings button.
  12. Click Next and then Finish to close the wizard.
